- Mike: Also, do you know what they use the newspaper for when they start descending? I see them put it in their jersey and I have no idea what that is about.
- Me: It's so they don't get wind burn. Going down at up to like 100k an hour (sometimes) has got to hurt, so they put newspaper down and zip up their jerseys to protect their chests.
- Mike: That is a remarkably low tech solution to a potentially nipple burning problem. I thought they were taking them as mementos hahaha.
i like seeing andy and alberto chatting away on their bikes, all friendly and such.
makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
